Check this before running ads (or you'll pay to confirm what you already knew)

Running ads doesn't fix an underlying problem, it exposes it faster, and more expensively. Before putting budget behind a paid campaign, there are a few prerequisites worth confirming first.
Is the offer clear? If someone sees the ad and doesn't understand in three seconds what you're offering and why they should care, no amount of budget is going to make up for that confusion.
Does the conversion channel actually work? If the ad leads to a slow page, a long form, or a WhatsApp nobody answers quickly, you're paying to get people somewhere that loses them on arrival.
Can you actually measure what's happening? Without some basic tracking (even something simple), you won't be able to tell whether a campaign failed because the ad was bad, because the audience was wrong, or because the problem was after the click.
If any of these three isn't resolved, running ads won't give you the answer you're looking for, it'll give you an expensive confirmation of a problem you could already sense without spending on ads. Solving this first doesn't delay the campaign, it makes it effective from day one.
Does your business need ad spend with real criteria behind it?
