Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This page is a translation, for informational purposes, of our Spanish-language Política de Cookies. In case of any discrepancy between this translation and the original Spanish text, the Spanish version governs.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. This Site also uses localStorage (browser local storage) to remember your consent choice between visits. For the purposes of this policy, we refer to both technologies together as "cookies."

2. Controller

INDEFESSO S.A.S. (trading as Ierònne), tax ID (NIT) 901.907.597-7, Bogotá D.C., Colombia. Contact: contacto@ieronne.com.

3. What cookies and technologies this Site uses

Vercel Speed Insights / AnalyticsTechnical performanceNo, uses no cookiesMeasure load speed and technical metrics for the Site, in aggregate and without individual identification
Consent preference (localStorage)Strictly necessaryNo (it's the one that remembers your choice)Remember whether you accepted or declined the use of analytics and advertising cookies

The Site does not use its own session cookies. The IP address captured when the contact form is submitted, for anti-spam security purposes, is not collected via cookies and is described in our Privacy Policy, not in this policy.

Advertising cookies (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are subject to the same consent mechanism described in section 4: they remain disabled until you accept the banner, and are only activated to measure conversions from our own campaigns (we never sell or share this data with third parties other than Google and Meta as advertising platforms).

4. How consent works on this Site

This Site uses Google Consent Mode v2. Before you make a choice, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager operate in restricted mode (storing no analytics cookies). When you interact with the cookie banner, your choice is sent to Google via gtag('consent', 'update', ...) and saved in your browser's localStorage for future visits.

4.1. Default settings based on your location

This consent mechanism applies equally to Google Analytics 4, to the heatmap/session-recording tool, and to Google Ads and Meta Pixel advertising cookies: none of them activate before you grant consent in the regions described below.

The default value of analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization before you decide varies by the region your visit is detected from, and all four signals turn on or off together (we don't offer separate consent per category):

  • If your visit originates in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, all four signals stay at denied until you grant express consent through the banner. No analytics or advertising cookie is activated without your prior acceptance.
  • For visitors from any other region (including Colombia and the rest of Latin America, the United States, and Canada), all four signals start at granted by default, and you can turn them off at any time from the Site's cookie preferences panel.

Region detection is based on the country information provided by the hosting infrastructure (Vercel), without relying on an additional external service.

4.2. How to change your choice

You can change your cookie preference at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the Site's footer, or by clearing cookies and localStorage directly from your browser settings.

5. Browser opt-out signals

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we interpret it as a request to opt out of non-essential analytics and advertising, and set analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization to denied, regardless of your location.

6. Strictly necessary cookies

Storing your consent preference in localStorage is strictly necessary for the cookie banner to function and does not require prior authorization, under the exception recognized both in European regulation (art. 5.3 ePrivacy Directive) and general data protection practice.

7. More information
